This is the approach to the former Bishopsbourne station seen from Crows Camp Road. The station has been lovingly restored over the last ten years to represent a Southern Railway station of the 1920s. Although the line opened on 4th July 1887, Bishopsbourne station opened on 1st July 1889. The station closed to passengers in 1940, and the line closed completely in 1947.
