The main entrance is on Robinson Way, at the edge of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The trees to the right are on Long Road. The school was built from 1937-41 as the County Grammar School for Girls. Its first buildings (in Image) are by S E Unwin and according to Nikolaus Pevsner "an excellent example of the progressive school architecture of the 1930s, brick, freely grouped and generously spaced".
