This is the new village school which opened in 1999. Fortunately the mystery of what had happened to the gates was solved after visiting the school. The historic C16 gates from the tomb of Lady Margaret Beaufort had been transferred to the new school in 1999, and there is a notice to this effect by the gates. Image
