On Bye Street, this was built built in the 19th century on the 17th century foundations of an old tannery. String was manufactured here for local hop farmers until the 1960s, and it continued as a string warehouse for some years after. There is a loading bay on the first floor level. My photo was taken in June 2013, and today I have checked in Google Street View, also dated 2013. There it looks very different, with a door flanked by two small windows below the loading bay, and the whole building painted cream. I don't know which is the earlier photo - mine or Google's.
