Butterbur http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterbur grows in profusion at the northern end of Clandeboye Avenue http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=45353699. As winter approaches the leaves provide a welcome splash of green in an otherwise dull scene.
