This coarse sandstone walled house looks slightly out of place at a corner of the Cathedral Close and its appearance suggests it would look more at home in Berwick upon Tweed. The house is grade 2 listed and has a frontage dating to 1739, although within there are parts dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Once the home of naturalist Henry Graves Bull [1818-85]
