Windmill Lane, Friston

Part of the private estates of Friston and Eastdean which were laid out from the late 1920s onwards though not completed until after the Second World War. Windmill Lane runs from the A259 to Warren Lane with the site of the titular windmill at the far end of the image where the road bends to join Seaford Road. Friston Mill was blown down in a storm in 1926.
