Nothing of historical interest in this square, Stockbridge Village, a purpose built council housing estate, half in Knowsley and half in Liverpool, formerly the infamous Cantril Farm built on farmland in the 1960's. This strange building with masts, portholes and funnels is a leisure centre, mostly obscured by trees, it can only be seen in the winter in its entirety.
