One of two bovine emblems on the top of the columns on the shop in Nailsea's High Street. Now a youth centre (see ) it clearly has been related to livestock, presumably a butcher's. The street is one of Nailsea's older ones and is centuries old; comparatively, most of the town is post-war development. See Image
