200 ft (61m) high office block in Stanhope Road, built in the early 1970s. Portsmouth City Council reported in January 2013 that the building with an adjoining 0.42 hectare development site was purchased by McAleer & Rushe, following Zurich's decision to vacate the building to consolidate operations at Solent Business Park. Portsmouth City Council has approved a £100 million scheme which includes 2 new hotels, 55 apartments, restaurants, offices and bars. National hotel chain Jury's Inn has already signed up to the project and a second hotel is going to be built from scratch with a further 243 beds. A third building on the current car park will create residential and office space and a new landscaped pedestrian entrance to Victoria Park from Stanhope Road will also be built.
