This railway was something of a latecomer to the network only being completed by the London & North Western Railway in 1882. Today it forms the Northampton Loop of the West Coast Main Line. Here an up London Midland train heads southwards having left Northampton. For thems that need to know the leading unit is Number 350 114. This image was taken from the bridge carrying the footpath between Collingtree and Blisworth over the railway.
