Many chapel buildings in the south Wales valleys have either been demolished or are now used for other purposes. Here is one that is still in use for the original purpose for which it was built over 150 years ago. The plaque on the wall to the left of the gateway is dated 1846, when the cause was established, and that on the building shows that it was rebuilt in 1856.
