Part of the National Forest, this new 14.32ha scheme, south of Ibstock, links with other new woods to create a large swathe of woodland. The site is crossed by two well used public rights of way. The Miner Way footpath runs along the northern edge of the site following the line of Image This photograph shows the large wetland area and pond which provides a diverse wildlife habitat. Come back in 10 or 20 years' time and see the difference!
