Originally a cycle works, this building became the home of the Beeston Motor Company in the earliest years of the motor industry (1897-1900). The trefoil plaque ( Image ) reflects the logo of the Swift Motor Company which was a later occupant up to 1931 . Rescued from demolition, the frontage was restored and incorporated into a hotel development in 1998-9. Taken from Mile Lane. The Quinton Road frontage: Image
