A hardy, agile breed that will adapt to most conditions, it makes an excellent outdoor pig and is resistant to sunburn. A talkative pig with a tendency to be bad tempered. Primarily a bacon pig but they will produce both good quality pork and bacon. A long, narrow pig with upright ears, a long snout and golden-red in colour. Rare Breed Category - 2
