The Reconciliation Reredos - the altar-piece of the City Parish Church of Saint Stephen Bristol. These colourful creations in the background are contemporary artworks created by Graeme Mortimer Evelyn; they echo the spirit of South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and also mark the bicentenary of the abolition of slavery in 1807. In the foreground is the conspicuous brass eagle lectern, dating from the fifteenth century. See Image] for more in this historic church.
