View westward, towards Mansfield: ex-Midland line, Mansfield - Southwell - Rolleston Junction. Passenger services ceased Mansfield - Southwell back on 12/8/29 (Southwell - Rolleston Junction 15/6/59), but through goods called here until the line was closed completely from 25/6/64. The station house is well-preserved. (Cf. Image] and Image]).
