One of Britain's last independently owned and family run department stores, where waitresses in the upstairs restaurant still wear traditional outfits. It advertises itself as "The home of affordable quality". The firm's Inverness branch is due to close in November 2013, so it's anyone's guess whether the Perth store will survive the current recession.
