Perhaps a recent recladding of an older building as the brown brick car park below has a 1970s look about it. This is accommodation for Bristol University students. Gimcrack blocks like this have sprung up across the land to cater for the burgeoning sector - developers have found it lucrative as they need not jump through so many planning hoops and students do not apparently need as much space (or light) as other types of human being so there is more money to be made. Universities must be complicit in this.
