Dry Dock (not very), Wallsend

Wallsend Slipway and Engineering Company had abandoned their dry dock and the level in it probably reflects the state of the tide. The dock had been pumped by underground steam engines. The dock is now infilled and the satellite image shows where the entrance had been. The buildings behind are still standing. The pump house has also gone.
