The centre of this collection of new private houses is what looks to be a one time small farm. While sheep were grazing on the slopes below what looked like the old farm house, there did not appear to be any other signs of active farming taking place. The houses lie at the junction of a minor road to the Glenmuir Water valley (NS6120) from Logan and another minor road to Craigens, a council housing estate on the outskirts of Cumnock (NS5818).
