I can well recall when this company relaunched Welsh whisky making, after a break of maybe a century or so (whisky having long been a popular drink in Wales, as it is everywhere). It's great to see that it's been such a resounding success. Recently a Welsh single malt from here was voted 'Best Whisky in the World' at a blind tasting. No bad accolade to brag about. So I went in and tried some. It was amazing. I bought a bottle. The staff were outstanding too - courteous, attentive, thoughtful, unpushy and well informed. Looking for a Christmas gift idea - you need look no further.
