View SE, towards Clapham Junction etc., also Earls Court (London Underground). Originally a major station on the West London (GW&LNW Joint) and West London Extension (GW, LNW, LBSC & LSW Joint) Railways busy with various inter-Railway long-distance, Special and suburban passenger and freight traffic, during and since World War II regular passenger traffic had almost ceased although freight traffic remained as heavy as ever. In 1994 the station is beginning to revive and here is the west side bay platform with a LT District Line train from Edgware Road via Earls Court.
