Dolerite intrusion with some shales/cherts. Crosscourse veins (rich in galena and chalcopyrite) cut in a E-W trend. Quarry started by ECC and now owned and run by Aggregate Industries who extract the dolerite for roadstone (high polishing value). One day this will be near the bottom of a lake.
