Once running from Lochearnhead to St Fillans and beyond - a victim of the Beeching cuts. Now grassed over for significant stretches but - as here - often interrupted by woodland and other barriers which prohibit walking the full distance along it. There has been talk, locally, of opening it up as a trail or cycle path to avoid the busy road which runs parallel with it. Nothing has come of this but SUSTRANS has helped to develop its sister line in nearby Glen Ogle, for walkers and cyclists Image
