Row of neatly planted young trees along the B59, also called The Longshot, near Doagh. I can't find any reference as to the origins of the name but it might be connected to the traditional Irish sport of Road Bowling, also known as Bullet Throwing. This was once widely played throughout Ireland but is now confined to a couple of places in Armagh and Cork. The aim of the sport is to cover a fixed distance between two points on the road in the fewest throws of the Bullet and this road would probably have been regarded as ideal for the sport with its long straights and gentle curves.
