The quadrangle at Solihull School was completed in stages, beginning in 1931 with Image which forms the south range. The cloisters on the other three sides, now glazed to form enclosed corridors, were originally open. The centre of the quad was for many years simply laid to lawn, but has now been planted and landscaped with a variety of trees and bushes, some of which have been planted in memory of former staff and pupils at the school.
