The second house on the left was once the Vicarage for the Parish of Christ Church, Ince-in-Makerfield. As stated in a previous caption, the house at the far end of the row was St. Mary's Vicarage. Quite an unusual situation. The area on the right is the proposed site of a new industrial park. It is billed as eco-friendly... but will destroy acres of open space, used freely for recreation for generations.
