Grade II* listed house built c1605 for wealthy businessman Gilbert Fisher. It passed through several owners, including the Digby family between 1698 and 1860 when it was bought by the Bourne and Essendine Railway Company, serving as the Stationmaster's House and ticket office http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1861030 until 1962.
