Passenger service on the heritage Chasewater Railway has recently been extended to Chasetown (Church Street) Station. Previously trains terminated at Chasewater Heaths Station. There are no facilities at present at the new station. It consists of an unmanned single track platform with a run-round loop. The platform is completely bare and there are no parking facilities here. The centre of Chasetown is a 10 minute walk away. In this view the double track loop become a short stretch of single track. The engine travels down this and then comes back on the right-hand line. Once past the platform it changes track again and then couples up with the carriages. Image
