Adfail Ffermdy Penlan ar Fynydd Drumau. Yn 1891 trigai Thomas Williams (60), ei wraig Mary (61) a'u mab Thomas (31) yma. Roeddent i gyd, gan gynnwys y gweision, yn uniaith Gymraeg. Saif y murddun ar gefnffordd hynafol. The ruined farmhouse known as Penlan (trans. top of the hill) on Mynydd Drumau (trans. mountain of ridges). In 1891 Thomas Williams (60) farmed here along with his wife Mary (61) and their son Thomas (31). All, including the servants, were Welsh speaking monoglots. The property stands on an ancient ridgeway.
