One drawback about living in the houses at Tamfourhill is that they are very close to the main railway line between Edinburgh and Glasgow, where there are trains at least every 15 minutes - except, as I discovered this day, when there is a Geograph-er waiting with camera at the ready to capture a shot of one rushing by.
