Viewed from the entrance road from Apley Avenue. A specialist humanities college, this is the only Roman Catholic secondary comprehensive in Shropshire. A Shropshire native, Robert Johnson was a Catholic priest and martyr during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. He was beatified in 1889, the first step to canonisation.
