The A57 road from Hyde to Manchester to Hyde crossing Broomstair Bridge over the river Tame. The building on the left is a "Valve House" belonging, originally, to Manchester Corporation Waterworks. A pipeline crossing in a girder bridge to the south is part of the aqueduct carrying water from Woodhead to Manchester.
