This lane takes a long time to reach nothing very much. Sedgwick is the first village, followed by Oxenholme (better known as the junction for Windermere on the West Coast Main Line). The A590 dual carriageway to Kendal from Junction 36 on the M6 is just left of this spot, but there is understandably no access.
