Metrolink Bombardier M5000 tram number 3001 climbs the hill from Ashton as it approaches the Ashton West tram stop (behind the camera). Between the Ashton IKEA store and the Ashton Moss stop, the Metrolink routre follows a dedicated tramway in the central reservation of Lord Sheldon Way (The Ashton Northern Bypass)
