This house was built in the early 1980s for Mr Ted Moody, local horticulturist and business man, who owned the adjacent glasshouses and the large distribution business Nursery Supplies. Surrounded by tall walls and deep additional hedges this is a difficult house to see. I suspect a lot of people do not know it is there. Mr Moody also collected exotic cars, and gave a serious kick-start to those post-BRM businesses in the area which serve that expensive trade.
