Taken in November 1969, this photo shows an Eastbourne Corporation AEC Regent V with East Lancs 60-seater bodywork dating from the early 1960s, in Terminus Road opposite the Railway Station. It is in the new livery of cream with blue lining out. Eastbourne Corporation buses began running in April 1903 between the railway station and Meads, but in December 2008, it was taken over by Stagecoach East Sussex of which Meads is now served by route 3.
