An Eastbourne bus in Seaside Road

Image: © David Hillas Taken: 15 Nov 1969

Taken in November 1969, this photo shows 82 (DHC 782E) a 1967 Leyland Titan bus with East Lancs 60-seater bodywork on route 4 to Eldon Road via Ocklynge. It is in the Eastbourne Corporation old livery of blue and primrose yellow. Now it is a preserved vehicle being owned by Stagecoach East Sussex and is numbered 19978, although still in that livery. The store to the left of the bus is now in different ownership.
