A large roadside pub which catered for both drinkers and people wanting food. It is on the A454 road and has been here since at least the 1920's. However a photograph from that period shows the building looked very different then. Unfortunately the pub has had a difficult time in recent years and was put up for sale again early this year but failed to get the reserve price at the auction. The price was then reduced but I don't know the present position. When I visited it appeared to be closed. If this is incorrect I would be happy to update this. Image Image Image
