The nuclear power station from about 2km away on a very grey day. It operated from 1967 to 1989. It was the first nuclear power station to be decommissioned in the UK - the process began in 1989 and will be completed between 2070 and 2080 by which time radioactive decay means that they can be demolished and the site completely cleared between. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berkeley_nuclear_power_station
