Public house on the A1000 just south of Hadley Green built in mock-tudor style. It has won the Evening Standard 'pub of the year' award in the past. The cockerel atop the pub sign suggests this is a Courage house, but whether that is still the case was not ascertained as I was unable to partake of refreshments within :-(
