The road that runs to the south of Broadmoor Hospital. The wall of the hospital grounds can be seen on the left. Up until the 1970s there used to be a row of houses dating from before 1870 on what is now the rough ground between the road and the wall. They were possibly built as staff accommodation for the hospital which opened in the 1860s.
