View NW, towards Headcorn: ex-Kent & East Sussex Light Railway. BR closed the station together with the line Headcorn - Tenterden - Robertsbridge on 4/1/54, but the building has been found other uses, while the line southward from Tenterden Town has been restored by the K&ESR Preservation Society progressively since 1974 to just south of Bodiam. (Cf. Image]).
