Situated in Pier Avenue at the corner with the A1095 Station Road, this building would appear to date from the 1970s. It provides telephone and broadband services to 2,966 residential and 180 non-residential premises in Southwold plus Reydon and Walberswick nearby. The BT warning notice can be seen on the wall of the TE whilst a tall pole with a microwave dish fitted near the top, can be seen to the right of the photo. This TE has the code EASWD, and (01502) 72xxxx numbers, the (01502) referring to the Lowestoft group of eleven TEs. Its postcode is IP18 6BX.
