London Transport Routemaster RM1998 stands at the Placehouse Lane (Tudor Rose) terminus of the 190 bus route from Thornton Heath. The car park on the right is for patrons of the Tudor Rose. Also visible through the windows of the bus shelter is John Brown's estate agents. The mock tudor house on the left is on Court Avenue.
