Hatton is a diversification out of traditional farming and into retail and leisure activities. The property has been in the Arkwright family hands since 1830 and was converted into its present use as recently as 1983. There is a garden centre that is the mainstay of the retail side of things. The water feature seen here has been created from what appear to be recycled barrels and an old hand pump.
