The Borders Railway Works at Stow

The Borders Railway works are well underway to reinstate 30 miles of line on the former Waverley route between Edinburgh and Tweedbank near Galashiels with a projected completion date of summer 2015. The original line between Carlisle and Edinburgh was closed in 1969.
