View east, towards Margate and Ramsgate: ex-SE&CR Main line from London Victoria via Chatham, electrified in June 1959. [My excuse for submitting this one to add to several other views already on Geograph is that the 'floral display' between the tracks, developed under BR since electrification, has been removed along with tarting up this important station since Privatisation].
