Looking upstream towards Cart Bridge. 'Upstream' is pretty much a technicality here - at the time of the photograph there was no detectable flow in either direction. The tow path runs along the north side of the navigation, and is just visible on the right of the photo. The land on the opposite bank is private, and enclosed.
